Vacation</u>

For those now catching up to the news with me, last week I had been departed for a short while from DA in order to go camping up in the Eastern Sierra with my family. This area is usually submerged primarily in mountains and valleys, between 5,000 and 10,000 feet above sea-level.

The trip was initially nice and very pretty scenery, until we realized that five of the ten lakes we had been planning to visit were closed up due to SNOW. That's right, it was snowing and ice cold where we were. At first we stayed in the valleys near one of the rivers that cut through the mountain ranges, but in this area it dropped down into the teens as far as degrees at night, and it became so ice cold that fishing seemed near impossible, with 40 mph gusts of wind cutting through the valley.

Then we ended up moving to a different area surrounded by mountains, like a bowl somewhat like, and hear the temperature seemed to stabilize with very little wind, only going as low as maybe the thirties at night. In this area we were staying the majority of the week here and it was here that we saw plenty of animals from racoons (cute, but vicious) to deer (really amazing creatures and beautiful when close up) to snakes (*shudders*) and so forth (though there was a constant fear of bears coming into the area, they never appeared). We fished and hiked majority of the trip, and only just returned back on Saturday.

The trip was pretty good, but I felt too out of place and uncomfortable that I don't think I'm going to go back anytime soon. It was to try it, give it a shot, and make a fair judgment on it later on.

I have taken a few pictures, and I will try to post them up as soon as I can.

News</u>

Unfortunately, Summer Semester has already started for me, and this means that I will be spending even less time on here and posting up pictures than usual. Luckily, it's only one class, but it's two hours from Monday to Thurseday, and requires quite a bit of my time and devotion, as I've already failed this class once before and have to take it over again to fix the grade.

So just to let you all know, this will be going on with me from now on for the next five weeks, and then I'll have more time to give until August when the fall semester begins. On top of this, I'm currently pursuing a friendship with a certain individual that I am infatuated with, and although this won't necessarily interfere with my school or here, in August, when the fall semester begins I will be chasing it more and might possibly be spending more time with this individual, so just to fair warn you all, in the fall I will be exceptionally busy.

Projects

I have quite a few projects in the works now, or at least I'm planning to start getting worked on.

Graduation This is a two-piece of work. The first will be a gift to a very good friend on here of mine who will be/has already graduate, and I want to give this person a drawing/picture as a gift to celebrate the momentous achievement.

The other part is a dedication, (narcissisticly), to myself, as it has been a year already since I, myself, have graduated. I want to draw these two pictures to signify the greatness in graduation ceremonies.

Alabastor I want to draw a picture of this character from my Forbidden series, at least to have it set up how I want this person to look like. Since I first began to create the story, I had been fighting with myself about how they should look. So, to solve the matter, I'll make a picture of them.

The Queen & Her Lovers A drawing of Janice and her two loves in the series. I want to also signify the contrast between the two loves and her two different sides, her bad, dark, cynical, bloodthirsty side, and her less than seen Human side. The two loves are her yin-and-yang, her dark and light sides.
